Wilder Gardens and Flowers

I’m Alex Abuza, an avid plantswoman and outdoorswoman with a deep love for all things wild. Love for nature and creativity has led me to divide my time between my Finger Lakes Cutting Gardens and the bustling streets of New York City.  Wilder Gardens & Flowers is a labor of love, born from the soil and built on a passion for nature.

I design gardens that balance beauty with sustainability, focusing on native plants that support the environment but that are planted in a manner that feels intentional. My floral work centers each client’s vision and is aimed at capturing the essence of a place and moment, using locally-sourced, responsibly foraged flowers as seasonally possible, and composting after events. I work with a diverse clientele, ranging from corporate and non-profit clients to private individuals, from galas to intimate gatherings.
