About Us

St. James' Welcomes a New Rector-Reverend Pilar F. Padrón Parnell to lead our parish on its new journey. St. James’ is a vibrant, open, joyful, fun-loving community of faith. We are intentional about growing in relationship with God and one another, about caring for the earth God created, and about serving the needs of the world God loves. Whether you are passing through the area, in town for a while, or looking for a spiritual home, we are delighted to welcome you.

Worship Services- Sundays 7:30am-Spoken Rite I service, 9am Rite II traditional service with organ (& choir September-May) & 10:45am Rite II contemporary worship with worship band! The 10:45am Sunday worship is Lakeside (weather permitting) June-September 8 in the park adjacent to the church. Wednesdays we hold a brief Healing Eucharist at 12pm-in person and live-streamed. All worship except Sunday's 7:30am service is live-streamed on Facebook.com/StJamesSkaneateles!

St. James' has expanded its children's ministry! Parents can sign their children up for Sundays 9am Mini-Saints ages 3-6 -a Montessori based curriculum Young Children & Worship, also on Sundays 9am -Saints in Training 6-11-Dig In the Life of Jesus, and Middle & HS combination events with First Pres of Skaneateles.
