The Local Branch started in 2009 while maker duo Blaine & Mackenzie were forging their path in their craft - pioneering an ethos in artisan, quality, USA made leather and apparel goods. Their journey started when they were living out west in their airstream camper and traveling to markets to sell their leather goods. They had a stall in Chelsea Market for a few years and then decided to return to Upstate NY to set up a brick and mortar store in downtown Skaneateles.
We hand make all of our leather and canvas goods and do the screen printing for our apparel. Everything we carry in store is made by small US brands!
